Who is responsible
MENTAT (69 rue de Chabrol, 75010 Paris, France, RCS Paris 107 484 362) is the controller of your account data and of your use of dogo. Questions: hello@dogoapp.ai.
For the candidates your firm searches for and keeps in its workspace, your firm decides the searches and what is done with them; MENTAT processes that data on its behalf and on its instructions.
What we process
Your account: firm name, email, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), invited members.
Your work: briefs, criteria, missions, kept candidates, drafted notes, voice settings.
Candidates: public professional information (name, title, company, career, LinkedIn profile) and the assessment against your criteria.
Billing: handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
Audience measurement: page views, clicks and key steps (account created, search run, subscription), and the source of your first visit (referral link, campaign or referring site) kept for 90 days in a cookie. In the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, these cookies are set only if you accept them; until you answer, or if you refuse, your visit is counted anonymously, without any cookie, and you can change your mind at any time from the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page. Elsewhere, they are set from your first visit. A technical cookie keeps only that region (Europe or not) for 30 days, to know whether to ask for your consent.
The dogo for LinkedIn extension
It acts only in the browser where you install it, with the LinkedIn session you are already signed in to there, and only when a dogo page asks or you click in its popup. It never runs on its own.
On linkedin.com it reads what you ask about: whether you are connected to the people on your longlists and your mutual contacts, the replies to the messages you sent from dogo, and your own list of connections if you import or load it. It sends the invitations and messages you click Send on.
What stays in your browser: your list of connections, the link to your dogo account, the day’s counters. What reaches dogo, for the people on your longlists only: whether you are connected and since when, your mutual contacts (name, headline, company, photo), that a message was sent and whether they replied. Your LinkedIn cookies are read for each request to linkedin.com, never stored and never sent anywhere else.
This data is used for that purpose only: it is never sold, never used for advertising, and never transferred beyond what is described here. Its use complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Why
To provide the service you signed up for (performance of the contract).
To invoice and keep our accounts (legal obligation).
To understand how the site and product are used, and improve them (your consent for audience-measurement cookies; our legitimate interest for anonymous counting without cookies).
For candidates: to let executive-search firms run searches from public professional information (the firm’s legitimate interest).
Who has access
Only your workspace. Our providers access it only as far as their job requires: hosting (Ireland), database and authentication (Ireland), web search and AI (to search, score and draft), email delivery, payment, audience measurement. Some are in the United States and covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. The named list is available on request.
We sell no data.
For how long
Account and workspace: as long as they exist. You can delete them yourself from Settings → Account, at once; or ask us, and we delete them within 30 days.
Candidates: as long as the firm keeps them for its searches, and at most 90 days after it closes its workspace. Deleted at any time at the request of the firm or of the person.
Invoices: 10 years, as French commercial law requires.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, and ask for a copy: write to hello@dogoapp.ai. We answer within a month. You can also change your email or password, or delete your account, yourself from Settings → Account.
Someone who appears on a longlist can ask to be removed the same way. What a candidate should know is on the “Contacted through dogo?” page (/candidates).
You can also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
