Terms of use and sale

Updated 25 September 2026. The French version is the reference.

The service

dogo, published by MENTAT, helps executive-search firms source, assess and approach candidates. It is for professionals; by creating a workspace you act on behalf of your company.

Trial

The trial lasts 14 days and includes 400 credits. No card is asked for. When it ends, your workspace is paused until you choose a plan: your work is kept and nothing is charged unless you subscribe.

Subscription and credits

Plans, prices and credits are those shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Prices exclude VAT, which is added to the invoice.

Subscriptions are monthly and renew automatically. A month’s credits do not roll over.

A subscriber can buy a credit pack as a one-off payment. Its credits do not expire.

A search that finds nobody is refunded in credits.

Moving from Solo to Pro takes effect at once; the prorated difference is added to the next invoice. Other plan changes go through us.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid; your workspace is then paused and your work kept. No pro-rata refund is due. Deleting your workspace (Settings → Account) ends the subscription at once, with no pro-rata refund, and deletes its work.

Your use

You stay in control of the messages sent: dogo drafts, you decide what goes. You are responsible for their content and for respecting LinkedIn’s terms and the rules that apply to outreach.

You use candidate data for your searches only, and you honour their removal requests.

For candidate data, your firm is the controller and MENTAT its processor. It is up to you to inform the candidates you contact and to answer their requests; the “Contacted through dogo?” page (/candidates) can help.

You alone are responsible for your search criteria and for their compliance with the applicable law, in particular the rules against discrimination in hiring.

The LinkedIn extension acts in your own LinkedIn account, when you ask it to. You use it at your own risk and in line with LinkedIn’s terms.

dogo is for identifying and approaching candidates. It must not be used to decide whether someone is eligible for employment, or to produce background reports.

You do not try to get around the service’s limits, resell it, or extract its data in bulk.

Liability

dogo’s assessments support a decision; they rest on public information that can be incomplete or dated. Whether to approach, present or hire a candidate is your decision.

MENTAT’s liability is limited to direct damage and, in total, to the amounts paid in the last 12 months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute goes to the competent courts of Paris, after an attempt to settle it amicably.
